Canterbury Children Are Welcome in Our Centre!
We’re proud to offer children from 3 months to primary school age, access to weekly music programs to promote their speech and language skills. Our specially designed music program aims to challenge children to be the best they can be with the assistance of a specially trained early childhood music educator. Little Lane teaches children to learn and grow through music via the Kodaly concept, promoting children’s natural learning through games, songs and fun.
Early learners who also gain exposure to different languages and cultures are better learners and speakers later in life. Our language immersion program provides your children access to our fully qualified, in-house Mandarin teacher who will guide them through a fun and play-based program.
Little Lane also provides a safe and encouraging environment for children to experiment and flourish amid its exciting art program. In our purpose-built art studio, your child will be supported to explore with clay, charcoal, paint, wire and 3D modelling, to express themselves and play. Exposure to art during the early years, promotes social and emotional development and encourages children to expand their abilities in a positive and nurturing environment.
Our team believes a well-balanced diet is the foundation for healthy development and growth. We provide morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea prepared in our commercial grade kitchen. We offer children the opportunity to taste a range of flavours from different cultures and influences with the help of our qualified, in-house chef. We cater for children with varying dietary requirements, including allergies and food intolerances.

If you’re stuck at work or “under the pump” we are more than happy to provide a breakfast or late snack for your child.
We also offer play-based 3 & 4 year old kindergarten programs that encourage investigation and discovery. Our STEM based programs assist children to develop their problem solving skills and facilitate a smooth transition into their foundation year at primary school.
